
Tasiujaq, or Leaf Bay, is another paradise on earth for hunting and fishing lovers. Here, they can observe seals and belugas, but also fish for Arctic charr – which are worldly renowned – Atlantic salmon and trout. Hunters can admire ducks, but also thousands of muskox. Not far from there, the Leaf Basin owes its international fame to the impressive tides that are sometimes as high as 15 metres. Besides, the world record for the highest tide has been recorder here.
