This village of nearly 400 people stretches over 630 km2. Its territory abounds with lakes and rivers, which are full of fish. The Arnaud River is only one of these habitats where fishers of the region and elsewhere come to fish. The few outfitters of the village and the surroundings will guide you to the predilection places.
There are also many archaeological sites in this area of the Nunavik region, surrounded by a cliff and a hill. Some remnants of a Viking house built in the 11th century were also found. The region's flora and fauna are nevertheless diversified, and eider colonies make the area their home year after year. The feathers found here after these birds leave are used to stuff the parkas.
