Musée Daniel Weetaluktuk

Open year round, reservations mandatory

In Honour of an Architect

This museum built in 1992, one of the few in Nunavik, bears the name of Daniel Weetaluktuk, the first archaeologist of the region. This man has greatly helped the cause of Inuit art in the region, but also in the rest of the province. In this igloo-shaped museum, you will discover contemporary Inuit works of art as well as archaeological and historical artefacts. Reservations are mandatory.
