About 12 kilometres from Kuujjuarapik, north of the Hudson Bay coast, are the Manitounuk Islands. Of an impressive beauty, these islands provide visitors with a panorama of rocky beaches and high, wind-carved cliffs. You can observe a large number of migratory birds as well as a tundra-type flora. From the summit of an observation point, you can admire birds, seals, whales and belugas, which share the waters in the bay.
