Inukjuak is a village of nearly 1,200 inhabitants who live on a 561-km2 territory. The village is nestled on the north shore of the Innuksuak River, which is renowned for its turquoise waters worthy of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the world. Along the river, there are numerous archaeological sites. In the musée Daniel Weetaluktuk and in the school of the village, you can admire some of the objects found at these sites. The hills of the hinterland and of the Hopewell Islands offer beautiful viewpoints on the village. Thanks to the river, there are some outfitters in the area, since it is an area favourable for fishing.
