It seems that Quebec has more than one lac à l'Eau Claire. The one we are interested in is in the Nunavik region, more precisely in the village of Umiujaq. This natural lake, one of the largest ones in Quebec, is located in two neighbouring craters. According to the popular belief, this lake would be the result of an ancient volcano or of a meteorite that would have split in two before hitting the ground. The series of spectacular cliffs along the coast, standing against the wind and waves is what makes the lac à l'Eau Claire so interesting to explore.
