The Digges Islands are only a few kilometres north of the village of Ivujivik, in the Hudson Bay. According to the books written about these islands, the Europeans met the Nunavik Inuit here for the first time in 1610. Since that date, this place has become a beautiful summer refuge for wildfowl.
