This is another historical place in Nunavik. This Cape was first used as a trading post between explorers and Nunavik Inuit. In addition, the Hudson Bay Company once established a trading post here, but has abandoned it since. Many years later, the Cape has become a nesting place, especially for one of the world's largest colony of thick-billed murre. Not far from the bay, there is also an impressive walrus population.
